Day Shift Positions:
Assembly - General Labour – Paint line – Packaging – Picking – Warehouse
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: Wages range from $12.50 to $13.50 with a possibility of increase depending on level of experience within the company.
Hours: 40 hour work week and overtime is available.
Current Shift: Days: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Location: 55 Taggart Street, Guelph. Facility is near a bus stop.
Qualifications: 1) You understand and value safe working habits for yourself and your peers; 2) You have good hand-eye coordination while working with small parts and are detail oriented; 3) You can work well with a team and individually with little supervision; 4) You are able to bend, reach , stand and lift 20 to 50 pounds repetitively for extended periods of time; 5) You must have steel toe boots or shoes.

Position Summary: The Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for planning and scheduling production and
customer shipments, identifying expediting requirements, capacity planning, managing order lead time
to customers and purchasing for the primary production components including plates, hardware and
shims. This position will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery, sufficient order fill rates and
acceptable order lead times. In this position you will also need to be an excellent communicator across
the entire organization, as well as with customers and suppliers. Salary will be commensurate with
experience.
Working Relationships: The Master Production Scheduler will report to and work closely with the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities: The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and implementing processes to ensure
effective execution and management of:
- Inventory management;
- Production scheduling;
- Capacity planning;
- Managing order lead time;
- Purchasing production materials;
- Ensuring sufficient levels of product is produced;
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a scheduling role in a manufacturing environment.
- Formal education in production planning is an asset.
- Experience with MRP, ERP or EDI.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Some purchasing experience is preferred.
- Some capacity planning experience is preferred.
